    Kharkiv-Vienna International Science School visiting IQOQI-Vienna

    As part of the Kharkiv-Vienna International Science School , the winners of the 2023 Ukrainian Science Olympiad visited IQOQI-Vienna on the 25th of September. After a welcome address by the President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences , Heinz Faßmann, special lectures and tours of the laboratories followed, culminating in a visit of the Hedy-Lamarr-Telescope. The scientific program was complemented by cultural activities in and around Vienna.

    THE UNIVERSITY OF INNSBRUCK AWARDS HONORARY DOCTORATE TO ANTON ZEILINGER

    On January 19, 2023, nobel laureate Anton Zeilinger was awarded an honorary doctorate of the University of Innsbruck for his outstanding scientific achievements. From 1990 to 1999, Zeilinger was a university professor at the Institute for Experimental Physics in Innsbruck. Parts of the ceremony can be found on YouTube .
