Kharkiv-Vienna International Science School visiting IQOQI-Vienna

For the 25 winners of the All-Ukrainian Science Olympiads 2023 a visit to Vienna was organized, where the students explored state-of-the-art research labs at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, and the University of Vienna.

As part of the Kharkiv-Vienna International Science School, the winners of the 2023 Ukrainian Science Olympiad visited IQOQI-Vienna on the 25th of September.

After a welcome address by the President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Heinz Faßmann, special lectures and tours of the laboratories followed, culminating in a visit of the Hedy-Lamarr-Telescope.

The scientific program was complemented by cultural activities in and around Vienna.
