Biographical sketch

Studies in Egyptology at the University of Vienna, receiving a Bachelor’s (2017), a Master’s Degree (2019); Master thesis on “Die Gärten von Avaris”, and PhD (2025) “Gleichzeitigkeiten. Von Königen und Dynastien der Ersten bis Zweiten Zwischenzeit“; 2016–2019 student employee within the project “A Puzzle in 4D”; 2018–2020 student employee within the project “Zentrum oder Peripherie? Der Friedhof von Turah in der kreativen Spannung der Staatsentstehung am Ende des 4. und dem Beginn des 3. Jahrtausends v. Chr. in Ägypten“; 2020–2023 Praedoc at the ERC Starting Grant „Challenging Time(s): A New Approach to Written Sources for Ancient Egyptian Chronology” subproject 3 with focus on the First Intermediate Period, the Middle Kingdom and the Second Intermediate Period; since 2023 Researcher in the project “Palatial Architecture in Egypt and its Spacial Semiotics. Hyksos and Egyptian Palaces at Avaris/Tell el-Dab'a” (University of Innsbruck).
