On November 13, Dr. Mario Krenn, PostDoc at IQOQI Vienna in the group of Prof. Anton Zeilinger, was awarded the Loschmidt-Preis 2018 for his dissertation "Quantum Experiments with Spatial Modes of Photons in Large Real and Hilbert spaces". The prize is an award of the "Chemisch-Physikalische Gesellschaft" of the University of Vienna for an outstanding dissertation in the field of physics or chemistry, which has been carried out at Austrian universities.
