Cosmological inhomogeneities in group field theory

We study the dynamics of perturbations over a homogeneous isotropic background in the context of emergent cosmology from EPRL-like group field theories.

The underlying group structure of the basic fields of the theory leads to a particularly simple form for the linearized dynamics of the inhomogeneous and/or anisotropic modes. We apply the Bogoliubov formalism to decouple these modes' dynamics and study special regimes of spins as well as cosmological observables built from the full quantum group field theory description.
