News

IQOQI Vienna is announcing the upcoming public lecture featuring world-renowned physicist Carlo Rovelli. The event will unveil the mysteries of White Holes, promising a captivating exploration of cosmic phenomena.

Twelve projects were selected for funding in the last application round of the FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) Spin-Off Fellowships and IQOQI Vienna participates with QuantumGain.

Scientists at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and TU Wien successfully demonstrated this during a flight on a commercial airliner in cooperation with the European Space Agency. Their setup for distributing and detecting entangled photons was sturdy enough to withstand even changing accelerations,…

Once a year, the "Highly Cited Researchers" survey names the most frequently cited researchers worldwide, and IQOQI is once again included in the latest edition.

One year after the Nobel Prize, this culmination of Anton Zeilinger’s lifelong fascinating journey through quantum wonderland has made science and research more prominent in Austria.

An analysis of what kind of effective statistical behavior is plausible if physics is assumed to be fundamentally quantum sets the stage for more robust tests of the validity of quantum theory.
