Work from Anton Zeilinger and colleagues chosen as one of the Top Ten Breakthroughs 2012
Anton Zeilinger, Robert Fickler and colleagues at the University of Vienna have been named in Physics World magazine’s list of top 10 breakthroughs for 2012.
The group was chosen by the judging team for devising a new technique for entangling photons using orbital angular momentum. Their work featured in the news item "Spooky action with twisted beams" on Physics World.com
The top ten was chosen by a panel of Physics World news editors and reporters using the following criteria:
