The program will open with an introduction to the institute and its members, followed by a look back at its history and guided tours of various laboratories, offering visitors first-hand insights into our research and facilities.
A special highlight of the day is the rooftop Hedy Lamarr Telescope, named in honor of the renowned actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. Beyond its impressive view, the telescope serves as a ground station, maintaining a quantum communication link with satellites orbiting the Earth — a unique glimpse into cutting-edge technology.
Please note that the introductory presentation will be held in German. However, the guided lab tours can also be conducted in English.
As the capacity for the event is limited, we recommend registering early to secure your spot for this unique experience at IQOQI Vienna.
