Effective Action Generalization of Bohmian Mechanics

We describe a generalization of the de Broglie-Bohm (dBB) formulation of quantum mechanics where the Bohmian equations of motion for the quantum trajectories are replaced by the effective action equations of motion.

In this way one can resolve the main difficulties of the dBB formulation, which are: absence of the classical trajectories for the bound states, violations of the Heisenberg uncertainity relations, difficulties and ambiguities when trying to generalize the Bohmian mechanics to quantum field theory and a necessity to include quantum gravity since the dBB wavefunction is really a wavefunction of the universe.
