Contextuality and Nonlocality together

Kochen-Specker Contextuality and Bell Nonlocality are central properties that forbid classical models to reproduce quantum results. They are usually seem as similar but distinct families of no-go theorems.

Even more, there are some results claiming a kind of monogamous relationship between them, precluding one to have both for the same systems.

In this talk, I plan to make a gentle introduction to those topics and to a generalisation that makes possible to seek for both together. Then I will move to theoretical and experimental results to show how they can coexist. Some deeper considerations regarding applications and limitations, which can also lead to other applications will be shown. To finish the talk, some considerations and possibilities regarding near term future of quantum science and technologies in Brazil will also be mentioned.
