News

One year after the Nobel Prize, this culmination of Anton Zeilinger’s lifelong fascinating journey through quantum wonderland has made science and research more prominent in Austria.

Once a year, the "Highly Cited Researchers" survey names the most frequently cited researchers worldwide, and IQOQI is once again included in the latest edition.

An analysis of what kind of effective statistical behavior is plausible if physics is assumed to be fundamentally quantum sets the stage for more robust tests of the validity of quantum theory.

For the 25 winners of the All-Ukrainian Science Olympiads 2023 a visit to Vienna was organized, where the students explored state-of-the-art research labs at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, and the University of Vienna.

Over 100 years ago, pioneering experiments were already carried out at Boltzmanngasse 3.
