Also in Corona times we are continuing our research, and our next project is near – border-crossing quantum communication. That’s state-of-the-art research using the most modern equipment available. And we need you!
We’re offering:
A pleasant and constructive working environment where asking questions isn’t only OK, but encouraged
A young team with year-long experience and publications in high-impact journals (sometimes findings from Master Theses get published already!)
State-of-the-art equipment and cooperations in the EU and around the globe
No occupational therapy, but meaningful participation in a large-scale experiment
Monthly financial support
We‘re expecting:
That you are enrolled in Physics Master's studies
Curiosity and interest in Optics, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Optics
Preparedness to work on a project for one year
That you have completed the major part of your master's curriculum
Fluency in English due to our international team and the mostly anglophone specialist literature
If this has aroused your interest, please send your CV to Sebastian Neumann (sebastian.neumann(at)oeaw.ac.at) as of now. He will arrange an informal meeting – in a first step if necessary via video call, but a visit of the lab and a hands-on explanation of our work is also possible!
